Sign & Sing Classes
Where: Danestone Community Centre
Date: Starting Monday 9th January 2017 for 12 weeks
Time: 1.30pm
Price: £87 for 12 Week Course
Description: Did you know that babies who sign are able to understand more complex ideas sooner than those who don’t sign? Sing and Sign is a baby class designed to encourage babies to use signs to enable them to communicate with their parents and families long before speech develops. Babies learn to use their hands much earlier than they learn to speak and they naturally use very basic signs to express themselves (e.g. pointing, waving or clapping).
At Sing and Sign, we tap into this instinctual ability and by teaching parents a wider range of signs to use at home, we give our babies ‘a voice’. It’s incredible how much our babies understand but because of the huge language barrier we face, the grown-ups miss a lot of what is going on in their babies heads. Signing allows parents to get a fascinating glimpse into their little one’s world, and to see their thoughts, ideas, wants and needs. Signing not only encourages early communication but also encourages speech development.

Bonding with Baby – Infant Massage & Rhythm Kids Classes
Looking for something to do with your baby, then why not check out Bonding with Baby’s Infant Massage and Rhythm Kids classes?
Latest block of classes start the week beginning Monday 16th January, currently with limited availability at some venues.
Find out more information over on our class post here.
I attended these classes with S when I was off on maternity leave and would highly recommend them. They are a great way to spend time with your baby and learn skills you can practice at home.
They are also fab for meeting other new parents in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere – plus a great way to get out of the house with your little one!
We hope this has given you some inspiration for the week ahead. Let us know in the comments below or over on Facebook, Instagram or Twitter what you get up too!
