Coastal Play

Description: Coastal Play is a children’s soft play area for children aged toddler to 10 (height restrictions will apply and take precedence over age).
We provide a huge play area that includes 2 Bouncy Castles, one with slide, Soft Play Pods & Shapes, plus Bouncers, Inflatable Pitch and toddler area. It’s a great space for running around and letting off some steam – especially when the weather outside’s not so nice!
Coastal Cafe provides a seating area where parents can see children at all times while enjoying a coffee and snack.

Piece together Scotland’s diverse geological history by investigating the mountains formed when it collided with England, discovering the evidence for an explosive volcanic past and studying the fossils that tell secrets of a once tropical climate! Through a series of hands on experiments and activities, build up your own map telling Scotland’s Rock Story – from the ancient northwest where some of the oldest rocks on the planet are found, to the modern landscape sculpted by ice.

Throughout the Castle & the brewhouse expert crafters will be at work and chatting about what inspires then to produce such wonderfully unique items. A full range of bespoke and unusual crafts and glorious foods will be available to purchase and wonderfully displayed amid the glories of this very beautiful and bijoux property.
An entrance charge of £4 (£2 for concessions & Children) includes the entire Castle and Fair along with the beautiful gardens at Drum!

Entertainment on the day will include ‘Slow’ Steam Challenges, Sentinel vs Foden Waggon Challenges, Rides on the Grampian Transport Museum’s Sentinel Waggon, A model traction engine tug of war and much more.
