Description: Come and join the fun at the Haddo Egg Hunt, which is organised and run by both the Oldmeldrum and Ellon Rotary Clubs. This is a charity event, with all surplus money going toward a selected local good cause.
Please note we have decided to have two time slots in 2019 so that everyone has the best chance of finding eggs, and as many people as possible can come and still find a parking space without queuing for a long time. The first entry time will run from 9:30 – 12:00 and the second from 12:30 – 3:30. Please pay attention to this when booking your tickets as you will need to use the drop down option next to the time to request tickets for the later entry time.
It is a tradition for local children to come to Haddo at Easter to find beautifully painted, wooden eggs left by the Easter bunny. The Easter bunny hops around the paths and under trees and bushes to find the best hiding spots so that children can have fun running around trying to find the coveted eggs.
It is very important to only take ONE egg as the bunny has only left enough for each child to get one beautiful keepsake to take home.
