Teddy Bear’s Picnic

Royal Deeside Speed Festival
Where: Kincardine Castle, Aboyne, AB34 5AE

Description: Enthusiasts will be heading to Aberdeenshire for the inaugural Royal Deeside Speed Festival, to be thrilled by the largest gathering of rare supercars, exciting performance cars, motorbikes, and historic racing cars in the north east of Scotland. The Royal Deeside Speed Festival will take place at Kincardine Castle, 20 miles to the west of Aberdeen. The event will be based around a speed hillclimb, and complemented by a range of high quality trade stands and motoring attractions. The Royal Deeside Speed Festival will follow the ethos of the Goodwood Festival of Speed and Cholmondeley Pageant of Power.

Robot Exhibition

Description: Meet dozens of robot models, cyborgs and androids – full size models, heads and toys – from TV shows and films from the past 60 years! Science-fiction fans, movie aficionados and families will have the chance to meet some of the most iconic movie characters at Aberdeen Science Centre. The display, one of Europe’s largest private collections of robots, will open on the 2nd of July and features full-size models from films and TV shows like Star Wars, Dr Who, The Terminator, Robocop, Judge Dredd and I, Robot.
