L3 Award in Emergency Paediatric First Aid

Description: This 6 hour course is suitable for those who want to have a good understanding of emergency baby and child first aid.

It is ideal for those who work with children, but who are not required to comply with the Ofsted/EYFS requirements.

Coastal Play 

Organiser: Bettridge Centre

Description: Coastal Play is a children’s soft play area for children aged toddler to 10 (height restrictions will apply and take precedence over age).

We provide a huge play area that includes 2 Bouncy Castles, one with slide, Soft Play Pods & Shapes, plus Bouncers, Inflatable Pitch and toddler area. It’s a great space for running around and letting off some steam – especially when the weather outside’s not so nice!

Magic School – Potions: Little Explorer Days

Description: Fizz, bang, pop! Come along to our Wizard School: Potions Little Explorer Days. From colour changes to bubbling eruptions we’ll be stirring up some magic during our Potions Workshop, investigating slime in our Interactive Story Session and practising our mixing and measuring skills through drop-in activities on the Exhibition Floor.

Little explorer days are special event days with shows and workshops designed for 2 – 5 year olds.

Relax Kids-Art theme

We are a peer support group for parents and carers who have children with additional needs. We meet once a fortnight on Mondays at Rosemount Community Centre, from 10:00 to 12:00 during term time. We aim to offer support and a safe environment where families of children with additional needs can meet to share experiences and information.

Baby Carrier / Wrap Session – Inverurie 

Organiser: Close and Calm

Where: St Andrew’s Church Hall Inverurie 

Date:  Friday 31st January 2020 Time:  09:45 – 11:00

Description: We’re delighted to be able to hold a Baby Carrier Session every month in Inverurie

Feel free to bring your stretchy wrap from the Scottish Baby Box as we’d love to give you a hand.

There will be trained baby carrying advice from Jess Hippey, owner of Close and Calm, and a large selection of carriers and wraps available for trying and for hiring. Should you wish to go on to buy a carrier after this, please inform Jess as discount codes are available for customers.

We will charge a £5 entry fee per family to cover room hire, insurance and professional fees. If you go on to hire, this £5 counts towards the monthly hire fee. Children are always welcome.

We’re very lucky to also have a breastfeeding peer supporter present at most meetings.

We’re a friendly, welcoming bunch and look forward to meeting you. Our hope is to try and build an informative and supportive community so the more the merrier.

You’re also always welcome to bring your own carriers for help too.
