AFCCT Challenge Match – AFC Former Players v The Red Army

Description: On Saturday 3rd September a team of Aberdeen FC Former Players, led by Russell Anderson, will take on a team of AFC supporters in the inaugural AFCCT Challenge Match at Harlaw Park in Inverurie.The match will raise funds for those who were affected by the flooding throughout Inverurie and Ballater earlier this year. AFC’s partner charity, Aberdeen FC Community Trust (AFCCT), will also benefit from a share of the proceeds to help continue their work throughout the North East.

Techfest Activity Weekend

Description: Join TechFest for the Activity Weekend at the Gordon Barracks, Bridge of Don on Saturday 3rd & Sunday 4th September.
Over 30 hands-on Science Technology Engineering and Maths workshops and demonstrations to fire up the imagination. All ages are welcome there will be something for everyone.
There will be plenty indoor and outdoor space provided for picnics and packed lunches.

Friends of Hazlehead Dandara 5k Fun Run

Description:
This year the Dandara 5k will have the following events:
5k (Adults only), 2k (12-15yrs), 1k (8-11yrs) & 600 metres (4-7yrs)
There will also be a Superhero theme for the day so feel free to dress up appropriately. There may be some special prizes for the best dressed on the day!
For those family and friends not participating in the races there will be an Events Village including catering hubs and children’s activities. The Bon Accord Brass Band will also play during the day.

Aberdeen Art Fair
Where: Aberdeen Beach Ballroom

Description: The AAF is a must see event in Scotlands cultural calendar. Having established itself over the last five years as offering one of the best selections of contemporary original and affordable art all under one roof the event is moving to the Beach Ballroom which can offer additional and much in demand exhibition space and free visitor car parking.
With over 4,000 visitors expected over the weekend they can expect to see all under one roof galleries artists print and art organisations from across Scotland and the UK with many household names, celebrity local and emerging artists with work priced from £50 to around £10,000.
And for the children there is a free arts club on the Saturday and Sunday and an added bonus for the adults is complimentary wine tasting from Majestic Wines.

Diddi Dance Free Taster Session

We use ribbons and hoops to help them get the most from each funky diddi dance track as well as other fun props which change with each dance theme, of which we cover 16 such as salsa, hip hop, tap and disco so they also learn about lots of music and dance styles as well as having tons of fun!!
