Description: Here’s an Introduction to our first Fraserburgh Health and Wellbeing Fayre.
The new year is a time of reflection on what has gone before and how life looks now, well up to this point.
Some, in fact most people, choose this time to change habits and patterns set in place long ago. Our resolve is high as is motivation and the following days usually bring an openness to adopt new ways of being, trying new things and refreshing on old.
We have decided that this is the ideal time to provide an event that will show the way through the initial doorway for those changes to take place. There will be therapists, stall holders, workshops, readings and raffles. With such a range of wonderful things on offer there should be something for everyone.
Entry is a suggested minimum donation of £3, however if you choose to give more then great as a funds raised from this and the raffle are going to the food bank.

Coding Club at Powis Community Centre (9-12)

Description: At a Code Club, young people learn to program and develop websites, apps, programs, and games, they build things with code and electronics, and much more. We aim to make learning to code a fun, sociable, and creative experience.
What should I bring to the event? All children should bring a laptop. In case you cannot provide one, we have a small number of computers (first come basis) offered by the centre. Please add that your child requires one to the ‘additional notes’ section when booking a ticket.
Should my child or I have prior coding knowledge?
No, the club is open to complete beginners as well as to young people who have coded before: we have skilled mentors who will help with technical questions.
Please note that we have a limited amount of spaces, so remember to sign your child up in advance for each session. We look forward to welcoming you both to our club!

Whilst new players are always welcome, the Rookie Day is an especially great time to get involved as we will go through the basics and give everyone a taste of what the sport is like.
No experience is necessary – whether you’ve played a little before or have just seen some of the NFL action on TV and wanted to give the sport a try – we cater for all levels of experience and ability.

Get in touch if you want to introduce your child to the magic of music. Abricabeats by Eve are 45 minute music and movement classes, aimed at 0-5 year olds. Classes are family time so it does not cost extra to bring siblings.
Classes are educational and fun – we will be starting the new year block with our very popular Superheroes, Pirates and Princesses theme. This involves us getting our groove on to Black Lace, bouncing superheroes on the parachute, flying rhythm ribbons like Superman, reading our singalong book, playing lots of instruments and much, much more!
