Festive Silent Disco Walking Tour

Description: IT’S CHRISTMAAAAAAAAS – and what better way to get in the festive mood, than to sing and dance through the Christmas Village with the city’s first festive silent disco walking tour!
This winter, Friends of ANCHOR is the chosen charity of the Christmas Village.
Every weekend, we will be bringing back the old fashioned tradition of carol singing… with a modern twist!
The 30-minute silent disco adventure tour will take place every hour, on the hour, on Fridays from 5pm to 9pm inclusive, Saturdays 2pm to 8pm inclusive and Sundays 1pm to 5pm inclusive.
Gather together your family, friends or workmates and grab one of our headsets to rock around every Christmas tree! Celebrating the festivities in style, you’ll join your tour guide from the famous Silent Adventures – the team who brought you this year’s Edinburgh Fringe silent disco.
Let the tempo build with a half hour of hand-picked festive tunes to get you in the spirit as you dance your way around the Christmas village and the winter wonderland of the Marischal College quad and Square.*
With all profits going directly to Friends of ANCHOR as a local charity, your festive party will also benefit a great cause.
Running from Friday 22nd November to Sunday 22nd December.
Tickets will be available at Aberdeen Christmas Village or can be pre-booked by emailing info@friendsofanchor.org. Email pre-booking will close each Thursday at 12pm for the coming weekend. From then, tickets will be available to purchase on the day, from the Christmas Village bar area.
Ticket prices are, £10 per adult, £7.50 per child (aged 5-12) or £25 for a family of four (two adults and two children).
Unfortunately we cannot control the North-east weather and regret that refunds will not be available if the event is cancelled due to poor weather. If this does happen, your generosity will be treated as a kind donation to the charity.
Please note this attraction is recommended for children over the age of five. Buggies and pushchairs will not be permitted. Babes in arms are welcome.

Description: Experience the very best Christmas concert in Aberdeen, with the Bon-Accord Silver Bands.
The bands will be performing a mixture of traditional and modern Christmas classics and there will be plenty of opportunity for you to sing along to your favourite carols.
The Bon-Accord Silver Band, and the Bon-Accord Silver ‘B’ Band will be filling Ferryhill Parish Church with festive joy and that warm fuzzy feeling of Christmas.

Baby Carrier / Wrap Session – Bridge of Don

Description: We’re delighted to be able to hold a Baby Carrier Session every month in Bridge of Don
Feel free to bring your stretchy wrap from the Scottish Baby Box as we’d love to give you a hand.
There will be trained baby carrying advice from Jess Hippey, owner of Close and Calm, and a large selection of carriers and wraps available for trying and for hiring. Should you wish to go on to buy a carrier after this, please inform Jess as discount codes are available for customers.
We will charge a £2 entry fee to cover room hire, insurance and professional fees. Children are always welcome.
We’re very lucky to also have a breastfeeding peer supporter present at most meetings.
We’re a friendly, welcoming bunch and look forward to meeting you. Our hope is to try and build an informative and supportive community so the more the merrier.
You’re also always welcome to bring your own carriers for help too.
