Times: This is an all day workshop, I ask that everyone is at the venue for 9:00 and we will start at 9:15. The official end time is 3:30pm and I will be available until 4:30pm for extra questions and so we can run over if needed.

Carriers /Slings: During the workshop we will explore different methods of carrying a baby in different types of carriers. I will provide the carriers but please feel free to bring any you’d like to learn more about.

Dolls: All practicing during the workshop is done with dolls. A small number of weighted dolls is provided during the workshop. If you have a weighted doll please let me know so I can prepare for the course knowing how many we have available.

Babies in arms and toddlers: Babies in arms are welcome to attend the workshop with their parent if needed. Please be advised that we ask that the other participants do not experience a disruption to their learning. In reality looking after a baby whilst also attending the course may impact on our own learning. StrongMamaMoves Mum, Baby & Toddler Class

Where: Warehouse Health Club, 20 Mearns Street, AB11 5AT Aberdeen

Date:  Friday 13th September 2019 Time:  11:30AM-12:30PM

Description: StrongMamaMoves Class

Our Friday Class will now adopt the brand name because it says exactly what it is!

Fridays at 1130am at Warehouse Health Club

Parent, toddler and baby classes.  It is exercise for you!  Bring your babies along, bring toddlers along and they can play with their toys or they can join in with you.

A structured warm up, main workout and cool down and stretch designed for you to become stronger and move better so you are ‘for parenting’

How often are we having to pick things up off the floor while still carrying them or when they throw their toys out of the pram or even picking them up when they are on the move??…

Imagine doing a deadlift (the ‚’scary’ one that people worry about doing their back in with) but the weight is a moving, fast, wriggling weight…  That’s parenthood!  But we don’t think about the fact when we pick our little humans up that we ARE deadlifting them, we ARE exercising.. And if we can’t move effectively we can get hurt..

So by doing a class that encourages increasing applied strength, increasing range of motion and fitness levels we are getting fit for parenting 🙂

It’s best to do this class after doing initial rehab work after birth. I have classes to refer for this or can offer PT.. This class is best as your next level up so you can make the most of it

Booking is essential.
