Coastal Play 

Organiser: Bettridge Centre

Description: Coastal Play is a children’s soft play area for children aged toddler to 10 (height restrictions will apply and take precedence over age).

 We provide a huge play area that includes 2 Bouncy Castles, one with slide, Soft Play Pods & Shapes, plus Bouncers, Inflatable Pitch and toddler area. It’s a great space for running around and letting off some steam – especially when the weather outside’s not so nice!

 Coastal Cafe provides a seating area where parents can see children at all times while enjoying a coffee and snack.

Summer at Garioch Heritage Centre

Description: Exclusively Highlands brings their summer craft and food fair to Garioch Heritage Centre, Inverurie. Some of Scotland’s finest handmade crafts and food producers will be appearing at this unique venue, which will be our only wheelchair and buggy friendly event in Aberdeenshire, no spiral stairs here!

A chance to meet an array of craftspeople at work; from Gin Distillers, glassmakers, patissiers, preservists, textilers, iron sculpture and artists to silversmiths, photographers, jewellers, wood & horn turners. The makers will be demonstrating how traditional techniques are still used to make beautiful & contemporary items. Admission is free and includes the first floor museum showcasing a varied collection of local artefacts. The heritage Centre cafe will be providing their usual tasty and varied fare throughout both Saturday and Sunday.

Open Farm Sunday 

Organiser: Castleton Farm Shop & Cafe

Description: This is a fantastic family friendly FREE event that is always hugely popular! You will learn lots about the farm, see the machinery and tractors, visit the pack house and see the biomass. Tractor and trailer guided tours will take visitors round the blueberries and cherries.

There will also be catering available on the day including a BBQ, ice cream, tea, coffee and cold drinks. Charges will apply for all food and drinks. Our shop & cafe will be open as normal throughout the event.

There will also be fun things for the children including a carty ride and bouncy castle!

We will be raising money for Friends of Anchor on the day.

Military Vehicle Tattoo

Aberdeen Etsy Summer Showcase with Look Again Festival

Description: The ever-popular Aberdeen Etsy Market is returning for a second summer showcase as part of the fantastic Look Again Festival. The curated design fair will showcase the best of Aberdeen City and Shire talent, celebrating the makers, collectors and artisans in local community. It will also house an art installation communally created by the Aberdeen Etsy Team. An opportunity to meet the makers, support local creatives and buy quality products ranging from illustration, art, ceramics, jewellery, textiles, cosmetics to homeware.

Aberdeen Etsy Team are a not-for-profit creative community that supports Etsy sellers at any age and stage of their careers – from business start-up to long-term shop owners. The aim of the group is to bring the creative community in Aberdeen together, facilitating a platform for networking and making new friends, while encouraging connections and collaborative work. We run workshops, talks, pop-ups, & casual meet-ups, as well as the hugely successful uk-wide Etsy Made Local market.

Our fantastic home for the summer market will be The Anatomy Rooms – one of the main Look Again hubs and bang in the middle of all the festival fun! There is an incredible programme of events in store. Beyond excited to take part again….
