Brilliant young student Viktor Frankenstein discovers how to endow dead organic matter with life itself. It is one thing to stitch together an anatomically complete organism, but quite another when it becomes a living, breathing creature that shows intelligence, feels torment ‚Äì and demands answers of its creator. Viktor, disgusted by his creation and unable to face the consequences of bringing it into the world, escapes his claustrophobic university life to return home to Switzerland. But the Monster is not to be put off, and it relentlessly tracks him down. Jealous that Viktor is about to marry his childhood sweetheart and create life in a more conventional way, the Monster resolves to ransom him until a wife is created for him also….
Mary Shelley’s seminal novel was published in 1818 when she was just 21 years old, and has never been out of print. It was conceived when she and her husband Percy Bysshe Shelley spent the summer of 1816 at Byron’s house on Lake Geneva. Byron proposed that they each write a ghost story to entertain the others. Mary was the last one to come up with her idea ‚Äì but her story was by far the best and the most enduring.
This gripping tale is now a brand-new musical production created by Illyria, the first and only professional theatre company to have toured outdoor productions of Gilbert & Sullivan classics such as The Pirates of Penzance, HMS Pinafore, Iolanthe, Ruddigore and The Mikado. FRANKENSTEIN is written by the same team who brought you The Adventures of Doctor Dolittle. It features a fully orchestrated musical score, a cast of professional actor singers, spectacular stage effects, puppetry and flashes of the wickedly dark humour for which Illyria is justly celebrated. The show contains mature themes but is suitable for all ages 5+

Mum, Toddler and Baby Exercise Class
Organiser: Strongmamamoves.Aberdeen
Where: Warehouse Health Club
Date: Friday 16th August 2019 Time: 10:30 – 13:30
Description: StrongMamaMoves Class
Our Friday Class will now adopt the brand name – because it says exactly what it is!
Fridays at 1130am at Warehouse Health Club
Parent, toddler and baby classes. It is exercise for you! Bring your babies along, bring toddlers along and they can play with their toys or they can join in with you.
A structured warm up, main workout and cool down and stretch designed for you to become stronger and move better so you are ‘fit for parenting’
How often are we having to pick things up off the floor while still carrying them or when they throw their toys out of the pram or even picking them up when they are on the move??…
Imagine doing a deadlift (the ‘scary’ one that people worry about doing their back in with) but the weight is a moving, fast, wriggling weight… That’s parenthood! But we don’t think about the fact when we pick our little humans up that we ARE deadlifting them, we ARE exercising.. And if we can’t move effectively we can get hurt..
So by doing a class that encourages increasing applied strength, increasing range of motion and fitness levels we are getting fit for parenting 🙂
It’s best to do this class after doing initial rehab work after birth. I have classes to refer for this or can offer PT.. This class is best as your next level up so you can make the most of it
Booking is essential.
