We can’t sell baby car seats or non PAT tested items that require a plug.
Our sales are 100% powered by volunteers and a % of the takings goes back into the NCT the UK’s largest parenting charity to support work locally and nationally.

Charlie House Santa Fun Run

Description: A sea of Santas are to set the scene ahead of this year’s Christmas in Aberdeen opening celebrations, including the Union Street Christmas parade and light switch on this November (Sunday 25th, 2018). The Charlie House Santa Fun Run, supported by Aberdeen City Council, invites families to take part and run down the length of Union Street (which is just under 1000m) dressed in Santa’s traditional outfit, which is included in the ticket price. The distance needs to be completed within 30 minutes and families are invited to run or walk the course which is open to all abilities including wheelchair users and their parents/carers.
The fun run route will see the festive runners travel from Union Street at the Albyn Place/Union Street junction, to Castle Street. To register for the Charlie House Santa Fun Run you must be 16 years of age or older on event day. Entrants aged 0 to 15 must be entered by a parent/guardian and must always be accompanied during the event.
Entry fees are £10 per adult, £10 per child, £35 for a family of two adults + up to three children, £10 for wheelchair users and parent/carers and includes a bib number, Santa suit and finishers medal.

Popping-up in the St Nicolas Centre over four days, the third annual Etsy Made Local market promises to be a fun alternative to the traditional Christmas shopping experience. Buy direct from local Etsy designers, makers and vintage collectors. Meet the people behind the product and look locally for this year’s Christmas gifting!
Etsy Made Local is a national initiative celebrating the crafters, collectors and artisans in local communities across the UK.
After our amazing 2016 & 17 markets, we are so excited to bring this fantastic national event back to Aberdeen for a third time. Our biggest fair yet – it’s going to be HUGE – and full to bursting with amazing local talent.
Once again we are working with Look Again/RGU who helped us secure this fantastic space in the city centre for Christmas. We are so grateful for their continued support. And a big thank you to the Bon Accord Centre for accommodating us for a second time.
We kick off with our launch party on Thursday 29th November – a late night shopping event with the coolest vibes – DJs, complementary mulled wine and mince pies – the absolute best way to do your Christmas shopping!

Ferryhill Kids – Friday Fun!

Description: Friday Fun is for toddlers to pre-school. It’s a volunteer-led group so please come along, help set up and chat to other parents/carers. Babies are welcome too, just ask for some of the baby toys/equipment.
Session is £3 and snack is included for your child (please let the volunteers on the day know of any allergies). This is a drop in group so no need to book in advance or block book.

Fyvie Castle Christmas Festival

Description: Our fabulous Christmas Festival is being held at the˜fairy tale Fyvie Castle. Over three days Fyvie Castle will be transformed into a festive treat for all and will include the finest array of Art, Craft and Food together with a traditional wandering carol singer and festive (but non alcoholic) mulled wine.
The perfect setting for Father Christmas will of course be in front of the fire in the Billiards room. The Castle will be overflowing with festive goods in every room and the racquet court brimming over with festive fare for all. Beautiful handcrafted jewellery, exquisite glass figurines, glass, fine photography, historic pens, textiles, horncraft, ceramics, skincare, felted animals and artefacts, sculptures and stained glass ware. Our food court will be filled with festive confectionary, cheeses, belgian and scottish chocolates, mouthwatering preserves, sumptuous cakes and patisseries, seafoods and charcuterie, local beer & gin.
